### What are the main functional components of deodorant

We have developed such a natural formula, against which the smell has not the slightest chance. We didn't want to suppress sweating, which is good for the body. Moreover, the sweat itself doesn't have a strong odour. But it contains substances that bacteria on the skin feed on, and it is the decomposition of these substances that causes the smell. So we focused on using natural substances to effectively reduce the appearance of bacteria, protect the skin from moisture and soften it.

Magnesium hydroxide - reduces the acidic pH of the skin, prevents the growth of bacteria and eliminates unpleasant odours, while not clogging pores or abrading the skin. It occurs naturally as the mineral brucite, which is a white solid with low solubility in water.

Coconut and almond oil - cleanse nourish and soften the skin.

Body butters and wax - create a protective layer and moisturise the skin.

Tapioca starch - absorbs moisture (sweat and sebum) and helps keep skin dry. Leaves a pleasantly soft powdery feeling. It is also suitable for sensitive skin.´

### Useful tips to get you started

Are you concerned about applying too much deodorant, spreading it unevenly, or leaving marks on your dark clothes? Put your worries behind you. Thanks to the use of tapioca starch, which is transparent, stains do not occur or are minimal. Additionally, everything cleans up effortlessly—even with lukewarm water.

Deodorant vs. antiperspirant: When using, also keep in mind that deodorant, natural or otherwise, will minimise unwanted odours or provide a pleasant scent. But unlike antiperspirant, it does not prevent sweating itself. In contrast, antiperspirant can prevent sweating but may contain aluminium salts or clog pores. Moreover, sweating is an important part of regulating body temperature and cleansing the body.

 
### How to store deodorant

Store it dry and at normal room temperature. Avoid too large temperature differences and also very low or high temperatures (above 40 °C), which can cause the deodorant to solidify or melt slightly. Under optimal conditions, deodorant lasts 1 year.
