### What are the main functional components of deodorant

We have developed such a natural formula, against which the smell has no chance. We didn't want to suppress sweating, which is good for the body. Sweat itself doesn’t have a strong odour. But it contains substances that bacteria on the skin feed on, and it is the decomposition of these substances that causes the smell. Therefore, we needed to reduce bacteria, protect against moisture and soften the skin.

Magnesium hydroxide - reduces the acidic pH of the skin, prevents the growth of bacteria and eliminates unpleasant odours, while not clogging pores or abrading the skin. It occurs naturally as the mineral brucite, which is a white solid with low solubility in water.

Coconut and almond oil - cleanses, nourishes and softens the skin.

Body butters and wax - create a protective layer and moisturise the skin.

Tapioca starch - absorbs moisture (sweat and sebum) and helps keep skin dry. It leaves a pleasantly soft powdery feeling on the skin. It is also suitable for sensitive skin.

### How to use deodorant

Apply a pea-sized amount to washed and dried underarms and spread evenly. Reapply as needed throughout the day. Depending on your level of physical activity, deodorant will protect you from odour for long periods of time, even all day.

### Useful tips to get you started

Worried about applying too much deodorant on your skin or spreading it wrong and leaving white marks on your dark clothes? Don't worry. Thanks to the use of tapioca starch, which is transparent, stains do not appear or are almost invisible. Plus, everything is easy to wash - even in lukewarm water.

Deodorant vs. antiperspirant: When using, also keep in mind that deodorant, natural or otherwise, will minimise unwanted odours or provide a pleasant scent. But unlike antiperspirant, it does not prevent sweating itself. In contrast, antiperspirant can prevent sweating but may contain aluminium salts or clog pores. Moreover, sweating is an important part of body temperature regulation.

 
### How to store deodorant

Store it dry and at normal room temperature. Avoid extreme temperature fluctuations and very low or high temperatures (above 40°C), as they may cause the deodorant to harden or partially melt. Under optimal conditions, deodorant lasts 1 year.
