Perfect your shungite decoration. The shungite stand for a sphere or egg is designed to hold the shaped stone in place and allow it to fully stand out, both visually and symbolically.
The stand has a triangular base and a gently shaped indentation into which the sphere or egg naturally fits. It ensures stability and elegance when placed on a desk, shelf, bedside table, or in a meditation corner, protecting the stone from unintended movement or falling.
Thanks to its 100% natural shungite material, the stand forms a compact whole with the stone. The triangle is considered a symbol of balance and grounding, and thus the stand is not only practical but also energetically balanced.
It will support a calm atmosphere, create an elegant and stylish interior accessory, and underscore the intention with which you use shungite.
### Benefits of Shungite
### What is Shungite
Shungite is a black matte stone with a natural carbon structure originating from Karelia in Russia. This fossilised natural material from the seabed has exceptional composition, properties, and wide application.
It is known for its ability to absorb radio and electromagnetic radiation and cleanse negative energies. It activates and enriches water and serves as a natural filter. It has strong protective effects.
It is extremely grounding, traditionally stated to help better integrate cosmic wisdom and karmic lessons, as its high vibration helps bring your spiritual body down to the physical plane.
Based on its structure, shungite is a mineraloid, a non-porous polyminerallic carbonaceous rock containing almost half of the elements of the periodic table.
It contains carbon in the unusual form of fullerenes. These are, after diamond, graphene, and graphite, the fourth known form of carbon and have enormous potential in many areas.
Shungite is the most powerful known antioxidant and at the same time a universal sorbent. It binds heavy metals, ammonia, petroleum products, pesticides, phenols, surfactants, chlorine, and other substances.
It got its name from its place of occurrence, the Karelian village of Shunga on the shore of Lake Onega, where it was first discovered. Northwestern Russia is the largest and oldest source of shungite; other deposits are in Austria, India, Kazakhstan, and Congo.
From the beginning of the 18th century, it was used as a healing aid. Tsar Peter the Great founded the first Russian spa in Karelia and also used shungite's properties to purify drinking water for the army.
In industry, shungite initially served as a substitute for coal coke in blast furnaces for cast iron production. Later, new valuable properties were discovered – absorbent, bactericidal, catalytic, redox, and filtering.
These enabled the use of shungite in various fields of science, industry, and technology. For example, a number of new nanotechnological materials were created based on it. Especially in Russia, Norway, Sweden, and America, it is used for water treatment and purification in wells, water reservoirs, and swimming pools, and for purifying wastewater from hospitals.
