### Different types of myrrh

Different types of myrrh have similar effects but differ in details and aroma. Myrrh confusa, sometimes referred to as Kenyan frankincense, is characterised by a deep and warm, sweetly herbaceous, resinous scent, with earthy and balsamic notes, which is more reminiscent of frankincense than myrrh.

The confusion is also caused by the myrrh tree //Commiphora confusa// itself, as this species is not easy to identify. It has different flowers on individual plants, as well as different colours and types of resin.

To prevent the formation of a resinous coating, thoroughly clean the dropper and its surroundings with a dry and clean tissue after each use of the essential oil. Then close the bottle tightly and store it in a dark and dry place.
