### Unique Persian rose

The Persian rose is a natural hybrid, which originated about 7,000 years ago on the borders of today’s Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, from where it spread throughout the Persian Empire. The famous tradition of producing rose oil, which has played an important role in medicine, perfumery and rituals since the beginning, soon developed here.

Iranian rose essential oil is considered the most intense and the most complex variant of rose oil. It differs from the Bulgarian or Turkish rose oil by its deeper, richer and fruitier fragrance with subtle spicy undertones. ### Warning

Rose essential oils can thicken when in contact with oxygen even at room temperatures. If you are unable to get the essential oil out from the bottle, we recommend removing the dropper from the bottle and using a skewer or glass pipette to get the desired amount. Usually, gentle warmth in the palms or a gently heated water bath is recommended when using such thick oils.

You can delay the natural thickening of the oil by carefully closing the bottle and storing the oil in a dark, dry place.
